MOE Scholarship Entrance Notice for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BPH, B. Pharmacy, BMLT, BAMS and BSc Forestry

Ministry of Education (MOE) of Nepal has issued scholarship notice 2071/2014 for various streams of undergraduate studies to students passed grade 12 science with biology subject.


The scholarship entrance exam is for various fields including MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BPH, B. Pharmacy, BMLT, BAMS, BSc Forestry.

The entrance exam selection allows students for admission with full or partial scholarship in following colleges or universities in different sessions of year 2014 / 2071:
1. November Session, 2014 in Tribhuvan University (TU) affiliated medical or other colleges.
2. August Session 2015 for Kathmandu University (KU) affiliated institutions

Important dates:

Form submission: 2071 Kartik 5 to 2071 Kartik 19th i.e. the form fillup and submission process begins from 22nd October 2014.

Admit Card Distribution: From Kartik 25th 2071 to Mangsir 3rd 2071 according to roll numbers allocated by the Entrance Exam Department of Ministry of Education (MOE), Kesharmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Exam date for MBBS/ Medical and other streams including BDS, BSc Nursing, BPH, B. Pharmacy, BMLT, BAMS, BSc Forestry is as follows:
2071 Mangsir 6th, Saturday

Exam time of MOE Scholarship Entrance Selection Exam:
From 1 PM on wards on above date.

Question Type and Marking Scheme:
Multiple Choice Questions of following Subjects:
Physics- 30, Chemistry- 30, Botany- 20, Zoology-20 Marks.

Total Marks: 100
Pass Mark: 50

Marks allocation system:
1 marks for each right answer.

Negative marking system:
0.25 marks will be deducted (reduced) for each wrong answer.

No marks will be deducted if more than one answers are given for single question.

10+2 or grade 12 or equivalent exam's marks will be added as 5% on total marks for MOE Entrance Exam Result 2071.
